Maybe I should put this "subject" under the FC 2007 part of the Forum... If you have any comments - do not hesitate to send it to the Forum. SSC will try to support this idea 2008 if you are intersted! - All the best Klas

Dear FC 2007 Friends - Paxie presented this proposal already in Bolivia. I think if most of the participants are ready to make a written presentation - not only the Power Point - let say 2-10 pages (just a proposal??)... I will support Paxie in making a book for all of us and for future programmes. I think its a brilliant idea and we can all become famous authors. It will only take small time for each of us to make this report - and I knoe some of you already have a good first version for publication! Tell me if you support the idea? - for sure I support it!

Ideas in relation to the FC programme or Forest Certification/SFM

Klas, I feel the ppt presentations you produced on the DVDs are not adequate output from these w/shops. My idea was still on asking people to prepare professional (technically sound) case study papers/reports of their FC projects which I would be prepared to edit and put together in the form of a book with introductory sections, the analysis put together with the lot of you in SSC. One can always use that book for future w/shops and indeed for education training. Obviously we would have to budget for the time and other related issues if this would be acceptable.

Are any of the participants interested in this?
